Former Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has rejected an initial approach from Serie A side Roma. The Italian has been out of work since leaving the Premier League club in November 2021.
Conte was asked about the Roma job after his former player Daniele De Rossi was appointed as the club's new technical director. De Rossi is expected to leave the club in June when his contract expires, and Conte has been linked with the role.
However, Conte has now ruled out a move to Roma, saying that he is "not interested" in the job. This will come as a blow to Roma, who are under pressure to appoint a new manager after a poor run of results.
